Senate’s Defence Committee Chairman vows nobody should use Pakistan for proxy war

Chairman of Pakistani Senate’s Standing Committee on Defence Mushahid Hussain Syed has vowed that no country would be allowed to misuse Pakistan for their vested interests.

Speaking at a seminar of Sindh United Party of Jalal Mehmood Shah, the Pakistan Muslim League’s general secretary and chairman standing committee on defence further said that decisions about Pakistan should be made in Pakistan and by Pakistanis independently.

“A Grand United Front is needed to be formed to safeguard the interests of Pakistan because the PMLN government has been scared and paralyzed in a situation when a sea change is occurring in Pakistani policies,” he said.

He advised the government to take lesson from the past mistakes because U.S. always ditched Pakistan and Pakistan suffered colossal losses due to alliance with the U.S.  He said that establishment should not be allowed to draft the foreign policy of Pakistan.
