Allama Nasir Jafari vows MWM to shake anti-people system in Gilgit-Baltistan
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has vowed that his party would shake the anti-people system of exploitation in Gilgit-Baltistan.
“We believe in peaceful struggle in which people play leading role. We shall begin peoples movement against usurpation of legitimate rights and other sorts of unfairness,” he said speaking at a press conference at Divisional Office of the party.
Shiite News Correspondent reported from Skardu that Allama Jafari condemned the government for its anti-GB policies. He said that subsidy on wheat was withdrawn. Natural resources of the GB are being exploited by non-locals. He said that locals have been ignored in bureaucracy of the province. He said that hospitals lack essential facilities. He said standard of education was deteriorated due t mismanagement and corruption.
“With a unity among Shia Muslims, Ismailis, Noor Nakhshi and Sunnis, our struggle against these ills that rot Gilgit-Baltistan, will be joined by all here,” he said.
MWM leader will formally launch its public movement by holding a mammoth public meeting and announcing manifesto on May 18 .
