LeJ-threatens-Bilawal-Bhutto-29-03-2014Banned Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi has threatened to assassinate Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman, Pakistan People’s Party, who said Punjab government would be held responsible for LeJ actions.

Shiite News Correspondent reported here that the PPP leaders confirmed that outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi sent a letter in which they threatened to assassinate Bilawal for his bold anti-terrorists stance.

The threat evoked an instant reaction from Bilawal who reiterated his anti-Taliban stance. In his tweet reaction, he said, Punjab government will be held responsible for Lashkar-e-Jhangvi’s actions.

He said that Punjab government has not taken action to eliminate the terrorists due to which they feel them strong and capable to attack innocent people. The PPP demands crackdown on banned Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorist outfits such as LeJ that is an offshoot of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba (renamed now as Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat).

In a resolution tabled by Abdul Sattar Rajpar, Sindh Assembly condemned the banned LeJ’s threats to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. It demanded of federal government to take notice of the threatening letter and take action against the LeJ.
