Allama Qazi Niaz urges govt, army not to assist Bahraini despotic monarchy

Allama Qazi Niaz Hussain Naqvi, Friday prayer leader of Jamia tul Muntazir, has warned the government and army not to extend any sort of assistance to the undemocratic despotic monarchs of Bahrain.

During his Friday sermon he alerted the PMLN government and Pakistan army to beware of the consequences of any kind of cooperation, assistance and support to the unelected undemocratic and despotic monarch of Bahrain.

He said that retired soldiers and other Pakistanis should not be sent to Bahrain to defend the tyrant monarch against whom the vast majority of Bahrainis has launched a pro-democracy movement that is aimed at establishment of democratic set-up in the tiny Persian Gulf state.

“Pakistanis rightly express their concern against the Saudis and Bahrainis visits to Pakistan and their 1.5 dollars gift to the Nawaz government. Rulers must pay heed to the voices of concern against their pro-monarchy policies,” he asserted.
