Friday prayer leader of Hazara Town Quetta elected SUC Baluchistan president
Friday prayer leader of Quetta’s Hazara Town has been elected president of Shia Ulema Council Baluchistan chapter at a meeting chaired by Allama Arif Wahidi, secretary general of the SUC.
Shiite News Correspondent reported that Allama Syed Mohammad Hassan Muballigh, a renowned Shia scholar, has been elected to succeed Allama Ghulam Mehdi Najafi who passed away after a protracted ailment.
At the meeting, religious scholars and officials of the SUC also offered fateha to rest departed soul of renowned Shia leader and scholar Allama Ghulam Mehdi Najafi in eternal peace. They appreciated his services for Shiites.
Shia Ulema Council is led by Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi who had to form parties under different names after an unjustifiable ban on his Tehrik-e-Jafaria (TJP) by the Musharraf government that wanted to balance his policy of ban on the takfiri terrorists groups by an illogical ban on leading Shia party of that time.
