Commercial closure and sit-in staged to protest Shia killings
Shia majority areas in Karachi witnessed a shutdown strike to mourn the targeted murders of Shiites in this city on Tuesday.
Shiite News Correspondent reported here that the closure began in the wake of the assassination of Shia shopkeeper Shahab Haider Naqvi in the area of Incholi on Monday afternoon.
Shia Muslims came out on streets and staged a sit-in near superhighway on Shahrah-e-Pakistan on Monday night to protest to macabre murder.
The commercial shutdown continued on Tuesday as the relatives, heirs and friends gathered to attend funeral of the martyr.
Two more Shiites were martyred on Tuesday but the government failed to take action against the killers.
Shia parties and leaders have reiterated their demand that the terrorists be arrested and hanged publicly and a military operation be launched to liquidate the ferocious Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorists.
