SP CID claims to arrest 2 innocent Shia youths who were already under his illegal detention for 50 days

shia aresstSP CID Police has formally implicated 2 innocent Shia youths who he had kept under illegal detention for 50 days since December 6, 2014.
Shiite News Correspondent reported on Saturday evening that he began Johar Hussain’s detention on December 6, 2014 and after some days he kept under began detaining his friends who had gone along with wife of Johar to get him released from illegal detention.

Report of these illegal detentions were published in some newspapers after the wife of illegally detained Johar Hussain has filed a request with Chief Justice Sindh High Court seeking his role to ensure immediate release of her spouse.
Shabia Sultana wife of Johar Hussain said in her letter to Chief Justice of Sindh High Court that her spouse was under illegal detention since December 6, 2013. First, she informed the CPLC East about missing of her husband and after then lodged complaint with the Gulistan-e-Johar Police Station who registered the report of missing in their roznamcha on December 7, 2013.

“A police cop namely Sher Mohammad contacted us and informed that SP Raja Umer Khitab had detained Johar Hussain in Civil Lines Police Station. He asked us to arrange Rs.200,000 for his release,” she said.

Sher further said that she insisted that the money would be arranged after she would meet her detained husband. Then, she accompanied by Irshad, a friend of Johar Hussain, went to Civil Lines Police Station. There, she saw her severely tortured spouse.

“SP Raja Umer Khitab detained Irshad too and asked me to give him Rs.200,000 and then he would release both of them. He also threatened me that on delay he would implicate Johar and Irshad.

Shabia Sultana requested the Chief Justice Sindh High Court to take suo motu notice of the illegal detention of her husband and his friend.
