Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain subsequently told a hurriedly called press conference that the Yazidi nasbi takfiri terrorists were encouraged because of the government’s offer of talks for the assassins of 50,000 Pakistanis.

He recalled that his son was also ambushed by the terrorists in Karachi three years ago.

Shia parties and leaders have lambasted the PMLN government for terrorist attack on another well-known Shia scholar saying that the terrorists had earlier shot martyred Allama Deedar Jalbani but the government took no action against the terrorists.

They said that the convicted terrorists must be hanged publicly forthwith so that their abettors could be frightened. They demanded targeted military operation against the terrorists.
