Thousands of Shiites attended the demonstrations and rallies staged in Shia majority areas such as Jafar-e-Tayyar Malir, Incholi Society and at other places where the supporters raised slogans against the U.S. and Zionist regime for using outlawed terrorist outfits as their proxy against Shia Muslims of Pakistan. They were also carrying banners and placards.

“Government of Punjab must arrest the terrorists of takfiri seminaries who are involved in the martyrdom of Allama Nasir Abbas. No lip service, please,” Hassan Hashmi, secretary general of the MWM Karachi chapter said speaking to protestors in Incholi.

Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi, Maulana Ali Anwar Jafari, Ali Hussain Naqvi, Ahsan Abbas and Raza Naqvi of the MWM also spoke to the demonstrators.

They were of the views that fanatic and takfiri seminaries are responsible for fan sectarian hatred and terrorism against Muslims. They demanded that hate-materials being taught at such seminaries should be banned.

They said that Shia Muslims made memorable sacrifices for the sake of Pakistan and enemies of Pakistan and Islam want to punish Shiites for the fact they led Pakistan movement.

They demanded that the assassins of Allama Nasir Abbas be arrested and hanged publicly for this heinous crime. They demanded that government must order a military operation to eliminate the terrorists and abandon its policy of inaction against the terrorists.
