MWM to form union level alliances, adjustments to contest local council elections

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has announced forming the union committees’ level alliances and adjustments to contest local councils’ elections.
“MWM district political councils have been empowered by the central leadership to take decisions on union committees’ level adjustments or electoral alliances,” disclosed Ali Hussain Naqvi, political secretary MWM Karachi chairperson on Thursday.

Speaking at political council meeting under the aegis of district west chapter of his party, the MWM’s official said that negotiations with like-minded parties were in progress at districts level.

“Central Political Secretary and Provincial Political Secretary of the MWM will visit Karachi soon and we shall brief them about our decisions that would be made public later,” he said.

Ali Hussain Naqvi further said that the MWM believes in service of the masses and decided to contest local councils’ elections with an aim to introduce true, altruistic and sincere local leadership. He said that with such a leadership, MWM would make its best efforts to sort out the local level problems and hope that MWM could be able to do so.
