Pakistan: MWM, ISO, TNFJ stage demonstration against the demolition of Janaat-ul-Baqee // Pictorial Report

m03The Universal day of the demolition of Holy Al-Baqee cemetery (Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baaqee) was observed in Pakistan at every city and districts on Wednesday as the protestors demanding the Saudi regime to immediately reconstruct the holy sites of Al-Baqee in Medina and Al-Mualla in Mecca.

According to the Shiite News Correspondent, The Shia organizations of the Country Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jaffaria (TNJF), Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslameen (MWM), Imamia Students Organization (ISO), Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan (JAP), Shia Ulema Council (SUC) and other organizations were organized the protest in the country to

lodge protest against destruction of the holy shrines of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.) Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.) and Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moalla at the hands of Saudi rulers on 8th Shawal, 1925.

However, Majalis-e-Aza were held and protest Matmi processions were taken out in all big cities and towns against the destruction of holy shrines.

In Karachi, the central Matmi protest demonstration was taken out from Imambargah Shohada-e-Karbala Incholi passing out the designated area staged sitt-in protest at Shahra-e-Pakistan and then culminated at Incholi society. The Juloos of Imamia Students Organization was took out from Khursan and ended at Imam Bargah Ali Reza, while passing the M.A.Jinnah Road. Thousands of mourners  participated in the rally and raised a voice of protest against the dilapidated condition of the Jannatul Baqee.

However, Activists of Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslameen (MWM) and Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jaffaria (TNJF) were staged separate protest demonstration outside the press club against the destruction of Al-Baqee and Al-Mualla and vehemently condemned the destruction of Al-Baqee by Saudi Wahabi regimes.

Rawalpindi:

The participants of the procession marched towards Committee Chowk passing through the Murree Road performing Matamdari and Noha-Khwani. The protest rally among others was led by Ulema Karam belonging to different schools of thought, office-bearers of TNFJ and other subordinate bodies, provincial, regional and district elite, leaders and Matmi Salars of religious organizations.

The participants of the rally in an adopted resolution strongly condemned Daily Jang for not publishing the advertisement given to them for Youm-e-Inhidam Jannatul Baqee.

ISLAMABAD:

            In Federal Capital Islamabad, the protest procession was taken out by TNFJ District Islamabad Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee Committee from Darbar Aalia Hazrat Sakhi Mahmood Badshah near Aabpara.

 

OTHER CITIES:

            Meanwhile according to reports reaching the offices of Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee Committee, the protest rallies were also organised and Majalis-e-Aza were held in Peshawar, Lahore, chakwal, Fateh Jang, Larkana, Faisalabad, Quetta, Jhelum, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Gilgit, Bagh, Gujrat, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Multan, Kasur, Khairpur Mirs, Shahdadpur, Mirpur Khas, Kakul, Nowshera, Lalamusa, Kohat, and Dera Ismail Khan.dina GT Roadfaisalabad press clubIslamabad Aabparakarachi Press Clublahore Simla Pahari
