MWM &ISO rally in support of Bahraini people

jos_mwm_and_iso_rallyThousands of Pakistani people were taken out a rally from China Chowk to Rawalpindi-Islamabad press club to express solidarity with the uprising movements in Bahrain, Yemen and Libya.

According to the Shiite News, the “Islamic unity rally” was organized by the Imamia Students Organization (ISO) and Majlis Wehdat Muslimeen (MWM) Rawalpindi in support of awakening in Muslim countries and  to condemn the dramatic release of CIA terrorist Raymond Davis.

MWM Central leader Allama Hasnain Gardezi, Allama Sakhawat Hussain, Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Provincial Deputy Secretary General Allama Asghar Askari, ISO Vice President Hassan Ahmed, and Taqi Haider.

Addressing the rally, MWM and ISO leaders condemned the massacre of pro-democracy protestors in Bahrain, Libya and Yemen saying that the invasion of Saudi and Gulf countries forces in Bahrain to crush the popular uprising was backed by the United States to protect its fifth Navy fleet in Bahrain.

They compared the brutal action of Saudi regime in Bahrain with Israel saying that Saudi forces were involved in the genocide of peaceful Shia and Sunni protestors in Bahrain.

The leaders demanded the Saudi and Gulf countries to immediately stop the barbarism and oppression against the people of Bahrain and quit their forces from Bahrain forthwith.

the condemned the Saudi and Gulf countries role for sending the troops in Bahrain and asked the questioned that why the Saudi regime did not send its troops in Palestine to protect the oppressed people of Palestine from Israeli atrocities.

Condemning the Saudi role in the release of CIA terrorists Raymond Davis, the Shia leaders condemned the Saudi role and said that once against Saudi regime has betrayed the Muslims of Pakistan.
