MWM rally condemn Karbala blast on pilgrims

mwmA protest rally in Karachi was held against the barbaric blast incident of bomb blast on pilgrims in the holy city of Karbala.The blasts occurred as the country has turned into a pilgrim destination due to the occasion of Arbaeen, which marks the 40th day to pass following the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain(AS), grandson of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

According to the Shiite News Correspondent, The protest and sit-in were held at M.A.Jinnah Road, the main street of Karachi, on the call of Majlis Wehdat Muslimeen (MWM) Karachi division on Friday night to condemn the blast on pilgrims of Imam Hussain (AS).

The protest rally was took out from Shah Khurasan Soldier Bazar and marched towards the M.A.Jinnah Road at Imam Bargah Ali Reza, where the speakers Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Maulana Ali Afzal, Mubashir Hussain and others addressed the protestors.

The protesters chanted slogans against US, Israel and the their Al-Qaeeda agents, and also denounced the attack on mourning procession in Rawalpindi, where the terrorist of Sipah-e-Sahahba attacked the procession of Arbaeen.

Speakers on the occasion said those who had attacked the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (AS) in Karbala and the mourners of the mourning procession in Rawalpindi were the agents of America and Israel saying that these culprits are the enemy of Holy Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), Hazrat Ali (as) and progeny of Holy Prophet (pbuh).

They said that through such heinous crimes the America, Israel and their local Wahabi agents wanted to destroy the religious harmony among the Muslims of the world saying that they are hatching the conspiracy to create sectarian hatred in the Muslim world.

The leaders also condemned the Rawalpindi attack and urged the government of Pakistan to take stern action against the terrorists.

They demanded that the government should arrest the culprits and their leaders and award them exemplary punishment. They said attacking the mourners of Muharram procession should be considered as a handiwork of the American and Israeli lobby.
