Shia locality Pehalwan Goth under attack

Awami National Party (ANP) backed Taliban militants in Karachi besieged the Shia Population of Pehalwan Goth Karachi and also broke the power supply of the area.

According to the Shiite News Correspondent, the tension was erupted owing to the clashes between two rival ethnic parties in Phelwan Goth Â and Block 9 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar areas, has yet to be diffused even after the deployment of rangers and police troops.

Hundreds of ANP workers also affiliated with Wahabi Nasabi militants were belongs from Waziristan reached at Pehalwan Goth from the different areas of Karachi to attack the Shia Population and they opened the straight fire on the houses of Shia Population in Pehalwan Goth.

The residents of Shia Population of Pehalwan Goth was suffering the besiege on second consecutive days as firing incidents continuously witnessed in Shia areas from the ANPâ€™s side, which creates fear of insecurity among residents of Pehalwan Goth Shia Population.Maulana Rajab Ali Bangash, Central leader of Jaffaria Alliance, also the residence of Pehalwan Goth, condemned the attack of ANP backed terrorists on Shia population of Pehalwan Goth.He also criticized the biased role of Police and Rangers to support and patronage the ANPâ€™s terrorists and alleged that the Law enforcement agencies have given the freehand to the ANP backed Taliban terrorists to freely attack the Shia Population.He pointed out that the ANPâ€™s and Taliban activists are provoking the sentiments of common masses through encouraging them to attack the Pehalwan Goth Shia population by using the loudspeakers of area mosqueâ€™s.

Tension gripped the area after these horrible incidents amid the gunfire in the locality that forced people stay home, while shops were also closed in the area.

Maulana Rajab Ali Bangash said that Â the police and Rangers had failed to protect the innocent people of the area from the culprits of ethnic groups.
