Shia Muslims prime victims of terrorist attacks in Pakistan: MWM Chief

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has said that takfiri terrorists caused irreparable losses and harm to Pakistan whereas Shia Muslims remained prime victims of their terrorist attacks.

He expressed these views at a mourning congregation that was held in Karachi to commemorate the anniversary of Abbas Town suicide bombings.
MWM chief said that Shia Muslims paid heavy price in this war against terrorists but they never bowed to the forces of terrorism. He said that martyrs of Abbas Town are great martyrs of Pakistan who embraced martyrdom for the sake of Islam and motherland Pakistan.
He said if the government sincerely pursues counterterrorism operations against the terrorists, Pakistan would be cleansed of the terrorists. He vowed that he and his party would continue to work for achievement of the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal to make Pakistan a welfare state. He said vision of Jinnah and Iqbal was the best solution to all problems of Pakistan.
He also prayed for departed souls of the victims of the Abbas Town suicide bombings that left many innocent Sunni and Shia Muslims dead. Banned Deobandi takfiri outfit LeJ/Taliban had claimed responsibility for that terrorist attack.
