SHC summons law enforcement agencies officials in Mumtaz Rizvi case

Sindh High Court has summoned top officials of law enforcement agencies on March 8 in connection with the Engineer Mumtaz Rizvi case.

Justice Naimatullah Phalpoto-headed bench of the SHC held first hearing of the case and issued said orders.
On Behalf of Syeda Masooma, wife of missing Mumtaz Rizvi, the head of Jafaria Legal Aid Syed Tasawwur Hussain Rizvi appeared before the court.
He informed the court that Syed Mumtaz Hussain Rizvi, a resident of New Rizvis Society, Karachi, had gone missing since January 23, 2018. The family lodged complaint with Sachal Police Station Karachi about it but his whereabouts have not been made known to them despite passage of more than two weeks. The family checked all hospitals and rescue agencies including Edhi Foundation but none of them had any information about Syed Mumtaz Hussain Rizvi.
