SHC to hear the case of missing Shia notable Mumtaz Rizvi on February 8

Sindh High Court will hold its first hearing on petition of family of missing Shia educationist and social worker Engineer Syed Mumtaz Hussain Rizvi on Thursday February 8.

The lawyer Syed Tasawwur Rizvi of Jafaria Legal Aid Committee said that he has requested the SHC to hear the case on priority due to importance and the human rights issue. He said he also seek release of all missing Shias.
Engineer Mumtaz Rizvi had gone missing since January 23 and it is believed he was taken into undeclared and illegal custody and subjected to enforced disappearance.
