Pakistan attaches importance to significant role of Iran in regional developments: Speaker

Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Pakistan attaches importance to significant role of Iran in regional developments.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Speaker Iranian Majlis (Parliament) Dr Ali Larijani who said that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan have adopted a wise stance in dealing with the problems created by different terrorist groups.
Referring to deeply rooted ties between the two countries, Larijani said Iran and Pakistan as two neighbors have seriously dealt with terrorist problems, but could overcome them with success.
The US and the Zionist regime never let restoration of calmness in the region and this urges the Islamic countries to adopt a crystal clear and a tough stance in dealing with them, the parliament speaker added.
Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, for his part, said Pakistan attaches importance to significant role of Iran in regional developments.
All Islamic countries should be united and adopt a unified standpoint in dealing with the enemies as they will spare no efforts to sow the seeds of discord among Muslim countries, he said.
Pakistan is willing to broaden commercial and banking cooperation with Iran and is to remove banking hurdles to attain the goal, he said.
