Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz had been flown by a special plane of the Saudi government on Wednesday. He is believed to have levelled the ground for the visit of the elder Sharif.
Saudi monarchy had always considered Pakistani as its client and they have been dictating their policies such as they did together with the US during Afghan proxy war against the ex-USSR.
