ISO observes Defence of Jerusalem Day across Pakistan

Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) observed Youm-e-Difa-e-Bayt-al-Maqdas or Defence of Jerusalem Day in all major cities across Pakistan to express their solidarity with Palestinians against the US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

 
The ISO supporters staged protest rallies in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Larkana and other cities. Carrying banners and placards, the ISO students raised slogans against President Trump’s illegal and unjustifiable decision on Jerusalem’s status.
ISO spokesman Naseem Karbalai, on this occasion, said that United Nations General Assembly overwhelmingly turned down the US President’s decision of Jerusalem that was a violation of international law. He said that US and Zionist regime of Israel suffered humiliating defeat at the UNGA on Thursday. He said that Palestinians steadfastness and resistance has no match and their unwavering stance and just struggle would win them their homeland in near future.
