Allama Sajid calls for end to enforced disappearance to establish rule of law

Chief of Shia Ulema Council and Islami Tehreek Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, has said that undeclared policy of balance for oppression (of Shia Muslims) of the past must be brought to end for a bright future of Pakistan and the malpractice of enforced disappearance of innocent Pakistanis by “unknown persons” should also brought to an end to establish rule of law.

Commenting on the Army Chief’s in-camera briefing at the Senate, he said, it augurs well. He said it was good to see that army chief called for burial of past and looking for future. His stance proved that all institutions are answerable to the Parliament that is a supreme organ of the state. He said now Parliament must play an active and effective role. He said that Pakistan was facing multiple challenges and unity of Pakistani nation is a must to meet these challenges.
He said that he always called for rule of law. He urged that all institutions should work within the ambit of the Constitutions and nobody should trespass the Constitutional limits.
