Shia party celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi calling for Muslim unity
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Malir chapter hosted the Seerat-e-Mustafa (PBUH) seminar to mark the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations where Shia scholars called for unity among Muslims as per the directives of the Prophet of Islam and humanity.
MWM is celebrating the birth anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad, the last apostle of God and Prophet of Islam and Humanity through weeklong programmes following the tradition set by great revolutionary leader Imam Khomeini who pioneered Hafta-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeem or Week of Muslim Unity from 12th to 17th Rabi-ul-Awwal to mark the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.
In the presence of Sunni Muslims, Shia scholars including Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, Allama Nishan Sajidi and Allama Naqi spoke and stressed on unity of Sunni-Shia Muslims in the light of teachings of the infallible Prophet of Islam.
They said that Sunni and Shia Muslims marked unity to celebrate the Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). They said that this unity is tantamount to defeat the enemies of Islam and Muslims and particularly the takfiris. They said that Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) taught love, fraternity, unity, tolerance and peace but takfiris have imposed a war on Islam and Muslims serving the agenda of their foreign masters.
They said that if rulers act upon the teaching of the last apostle of God, Prophet of Islam then they would be able rid country all problems including the menace of terrorism.
