Allama Sajid warns he will not withdraw if he gives call for sit-in

Shia Ulema Council chief Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has warned the government to beware of the consequences of the issue of Khatam-e-Nubuwwat saying that SUC supporters would not return empty handed if he gives call for sit-in.

Talking to the media in Garh Maharaja Jhang, he said, unwavering belief in the Khatam-e-Nubuwwat is part of faith of every Muslims. However, he gave clear message to the TLYRA chief and government by saying that he will not handle the issue like those did at the Faizabad protest. He said he would not return if he gives call for sit-in.
He said that the course of action of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) would be announced in its third meeting to be held this month.
He said law and order conditions were not satisfactory despite the Operation Raddul Fasaad. He said he believes in the ideology of sacrifice. He said Pakistan was entangled in educational, political and economic crisis that needed to be overcome.
Allama Sajid said that he and his party supports the election on time after the Parliament and Provincial Assemblies complete their Constitutional term. However, delimitation of the constituencies after the Census results is also required by the Constitution.
