Nasir Shirazi says Punjab government responsible for his kidnapping

Shia politician and lawyer Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi has said that Punjab government cannot absolve itself of his kidnapping case because he was abducted in Punjab province and remained in the captivity in that province.

After his release, a news channel contacted him for his viewpoint, in which he said that the aims and objects of the kidnappers would come to light with the passage of time. He said had there been any charge against him, he would have been produced in the court of law to stand trial.
He said he had filed a petition against Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah hence if he wants to say anything he should say it on record in the court and not on the media.
