Another innocent Shia youth taken into illegal custody

Another Karachi-based Shia Muslim was taken into undeclared and illegal custody by the security officials who whisked away a 25-year-old youth from Jafar-e-Tayyar Society in Malir.

Syed Haider Ali Rizvi son of Syed Shabbir Hussain was picked up from Jafar-e-Tayyar Society and he and his family were not told of charges against him. He too is being denied the right to be produced in the court of law where he could defend him.
More than 130 Shia Muslims have reportedly been subjected to enforced disappearances without knowing details of charges against them.
Enjoying support from all the Opposition parties at legislatures, Shia citizens of Pakistan have been protesting against these enforced disappearances.
