Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organization jointly staged a protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club on Sunday where the protesters vowed to besiege the ruling Sharif family of Punjab in their Raiwind palace-like estate.

Former Senator Allama Abbas Kumaili of Jafaria Alliance, MWM’s leaders Allama Ahmed Iqbal and Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain, ISO Karachi president Mohammad Yaseen and other office bearers of said parties addressed the protesters.
Amid slogans against Punjab government, Sharif family and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, said Shia leaders condemned the enforced disappearance of Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, deputy secretary general of MWM who happens to be a member of ISO guardian council also.
The said leaders accused Rana Sanaullah of kidnapping Nasir Shirazi because he had sought his disqualification over his biased and hatemongering remarks against the respectable members of judiciary to divide the august organ of state on sectarian line that was against the Constitution and moral values.
They lamented that Punjab government was flouting the orders of the Lahore High Court and has imposed jungle law in Punjab where they victimize political opponents. They said that Punjab government was a security risk and working against the interest of Pakistan. They warned that plots aimed at pushing peaceful and patriot Shia citizens to wall would not succeed and the tyrants and despots would be toppled soon.
