MWM and ISO to stage demonstrations for release of Nasir Shirazi today

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organisation have jointly announced observance of Friday as a day of protest against non-release of Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, deputy secretary general, MWM.

The protest demonstrations are being staged after Friday prayers outside Jamey Masjid Noor-e-Eeman Nazimabad, Jame Masjid Al Mustafa Abbas Town, Malir, Korangi Crossing, Orangi Town and Steel Town, respectively.
Nasir Shirazi was kidnapped by the cops in plainclothes on November 1 from Lahore Wapda Town and since then he was subjected to enforced disappearance.
