Kidnapped Shia politician and lawyer Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi has not been produced in the Lahore High Court today despite the court’s orders and the latter gave new date (November 22) for his production.

All security agencies have been directed to sort out the matter by November 22 as the LHC bench heard the petition of Nasir Shirazi on Thursday (today).
Nasir Shirazi is deputy secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen. He was kidnapped from near the house of his brother Ali Abbas in Lahore Wada Town on Wednesday November 1 and since then his whereabouts are not known.
His relatives, MWM and Opposition parties believe that he was subjected to enforced disappearance. They accused Punjab government, chief minister Shahbaz, law minister Rana Sanaullah and Shahbaz’s son Hamza of masterminding his abduction through CTD.
Nasir Shirazi had filed a petition to seek disqualification Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah over his statement against a respectable judge because of his inquiry report regarding the Lahore Model Town carnage that has irked Rana Sana and Punjab government.
