Enforced disappearances of Shias tantamount to economic murders of their families
The speakers at a protest demonstration during Chehlum procession in Karachi condemned the enforced disappearances of innocent Shia Muslims saying that it was tantamount to the collective economic murders of their families.
Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi and Allama Syed Sadiq Raza Taqvi addressed the protesters at a protest organised by Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organisation.
They said that Punjab government was a despotic regime hence that cannot be trusted. They said that Punjab government got MWM leader Nasir Shirazi kidnapped from Lahore.
They said that the relatives had also pursued legal course and also wrote letters to the top authorities in the government but nobody came forward to do justice to them. They lamented that the ruling bigwigs were impeding rule of law by violation of law across Pakistan.
