Shia parties threaten to encircle rulers if Nasir Shirazi not released forthwith

Leaders of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Imamia Students Organisation, Pakistan Shia Political Party and other Shia notables have announced they would launch encirclement of the houses and offices of the rulers if renowned Shia politician and lawyer Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi was not released immediately.

At a joint media talk at the Wahdat House in Lahore, Allama Mubarak Mousavi of MWM, Ansar Mehdi of ISO, Syed Naubahar Shah of PSPP, Waqarul Hasnain of Shia Shehriyan Pakistan and Afsar Raza Khan, former head of Imamia Organisation Pakistan made this announcement after a meeting.
They said that in the eyes of the Punjab government, it was a crime of Nasir Shirazi that he worked for unity of Muslims and Pakistanis, he worked against the takfiris and raised voice against the facilitators of takfiris within the government also. They said due to these works, Punjab government got him kidnapped.
They said that Shia Muslims would register peaceful protest during Chehlum (Arbaeen) processions against the illegal detention of Nasir Shirazi and other Shia Muslims who were subjected to the enforced disappearances. They said that if Nasir Shirazi was not released, they would begin a protest movement and this time they would encircle the houses and offices of the rulers.
They made it clear that if any harm is caused to Nasir Shirazi, Punjab government and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah would be held responsible. They condemned the biased and negative illegal tactics being applied by the Punjab government to victimize patriot Shia Muslims of Pakistan. They said it seems that in the eyes of Punjab rulers, it is a sin if someone is a Shia Muslim.
Waqar ul Hasnain announced that Shia Muslims will stage protest rally in Sheikhupura today.
