Committee formed to ensure no speech against Shia creeds at Imam Bargahs

A committee was formed in Karachi to draft a code of ethics to be practiced by all speakers at Imam Bargahs and this newly-formed committee will ensure that no speaker say anything against the Shia Islamic principles and creeds.

The committee comprises of Allama Abbas Kumaili, Maulana Baqir Abbas Zaidi, Maulana Haider Abbas Abidi, Allama Nisar Qalandari, Allama Baqir Zaidi and Allama Kamran Rizvi.
The decision to form the committee was made at a meeting chaired by senior Zakir Abbaas Kumaili. Apart from said members, Maulana Ahmed Iqbal, Maulana Hussain Masoodi, Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Allama Furqan Haider Abidi, Zohair Abidi, Shamsul Hassan Shamsi, Salman Mujtaba, Dr Javad, SM Naqi, Shabbar Raza, Meesam Abidi, Qasim Naqvi, representatives from Haiyyat e Aimma Masajid, MWM, ISO, Zakireen-e-Imamia, Jafaria Alliance, etc., attended the meeting.
The majority of the speakers at the meeting condemned those who violated the sanctity of Shia Islam by their speeches against the Shia Islam’s principles and creeds. They said that Shia Muslims believe in Tauheed, Adl, Nubuwwat, Imamat and Qiyamat. They vowed that nobody would be allowed to insult these principles.
They appealed to all that if they have any complaint of insult to Shia Islam’s principles by any speaker, they must apprise the committee of fact with evidences so that needed action may be taken to ban such intolerable attack on Shia Islam.
