Rally for release of missing Shias reaches Governor House in Karachi
The rally that began from Malir City on Saturday night for release of missing Shia Muslims has reached Sindh Governor’s House after passing through Malir Halt, Natha Khan, Drigh Road, Karsaz, Baloch Colony, Nursery and FTC on Shaarey Faisal.
The families of the victims of the enforced disappearances led by Allama Syed Hassan Zafar Naqvi, Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Allama Dr Aqeel Moosa, have staged a sit-in outside Governor House to protest against the illegal and undeclared detention of innocent Shia Muslims.
Dr Aqeel Moosa led Fajr prayers outside the Governor House where the rally reached in the wee hours today.
The supporters of this legitimate cause have been appealed to reach Governor House to join the rally.
Throughout its route, the protesters recited nohas. They also raised slogans for release of their relatives.
