False claim of Orya Maqboo Jan challenged by Nusrat Shahani
Media Secretary of the Federation of Shia Seminaries Nusrat Shahani has contested the false claim of biased and pro-takfiris bureaucrat Orya Maqbool Jan who understated the killings of Shia Muslims across Pakistan.
Shahani put a simple question that which Islamic school of thought other than Shia Muslims were made prime target of terrorist attacks. He said that whose genocide other than Shia Muslims occurred in Quetta, Parachinar, Dera Ismail Khan, and other parts of the country.
He also cited the massacre of Shia Muslims in Gilgit-Baltistan and on way to that area such as Lalu Sar, Chilas massacres in which Shia Muslims were pulled out of buses and were brutally murdered after terrorists identified them as Shias.
He said that mourning congregations and processions of Ashura and Chehlum were bombed. Shia doctors, engineers, professors, lawyers, notables, bureaucrats, and scholars were made targets.
He said that even Shia women and children were made targets by terrorists in Karachi and Quetta. He said that it was totally unfair and unacceptable to understate the terrorist attacks against Shia Muslims. He said that only Eid Milad ul Nabi congregation of Sunni Bralevis was bombed and no other sect has suffered due to terrorism but Shia Muslims and then Sunni Bralevis.
Orya Maqbool Jan is a drama writer and his fictitious fictions always targeted Shia Muslims because of his sympathy with the takfiri terrorists. Interestingly, he wrote columns in newspapers and appeared on TV channels as analyst despite the fact that he was a government servant.
