Senate Committee chief condemns enforced disappearances of Shia Muslims
Chairman Standing Committee on Interior, Senator Rehman Malik, has condemned the enforced disappearances of Shia Muslims saying that he will raise this issue at the forthcoming meeting the secretary interior.
He said that the case of missing Shias was brought to his knowledge. He lamented that Pakistani Shias were subjected to the enforced disappearances.
Rehman Malik said that he would also talk to the federal and provincial governments so that they too should play their role and ascertain what happened to these missing Shias and they should play their role for their recovery.
