Allama Hassan Zafar to offer arrest to mark solidarity with missing Shias

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen deputy secretary general Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi has announced he will offer himself for arrest on Friday October 6 to express solidarity with the illegally detained Shia Muslims.

He made this announcement addressing a demonstration staged by the families of those Shia Muslims who were subjected to enforced disappearance, during 9th Moharram mourning procession.
Reports had it that the families of the illegally detained Shia Muslims will also offer their arrest along with Allama Hassan Zafar.
Allama Hassan Zafar has said that either innocent Shia Muslims be released forthwith or he and their heirs should also be detained at the same place where the illegally held Shiites were detained.
The 8th, 9th and 10th Moharram witnessed huge demonstrations on the issue of enforced disappearance of Shia Muslims without any case against them. Ashura procession witnessed 7th protest demonstration on the issue.
