Another protest demonstration was held in Karachi on Thursday night against the kidnapping and illegal and undeclared detention of innocent Shia Muslims across Pakistan.

Thousands of Shiites including families of the victims gathered outside the Imam Bargah Shah-e-Karbala in Old Rizvia Society raising slogans against the undeclared and unjustifiable detention of innocent Shia Muslims without producing them in any court of law and without informing their relatives of their whereabouts.
They were carrying the placards and banners inscribed with slogans demanding immediate release of the illegally detained Shia Muslims forthwith. Some of them were lifting portraits of illegal detainees including Syed Arif Jafari and Syed Aftab Ali Naqvi alias Nomi.
Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, deputy secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, spoke to the protesters. He said that rogue elements were bringing a bad name to Pakistan by enforced disappearance of loyal sons of Pakistan. He said that rule of law in Pakistan cannot be established without enforcing law on the law enforcers too.
He said that elderly parents, wives and children and other blood relatives of the illegally detained Shia Muslims were running from pillar to post to seek release of their near and dear ones but neither judiciary nor executive could have come to rescue them. He demanded of the President, Prime Minister, Army Chief and Chief Justices of Supreme Court and High Courts to take notice of the unlawful detention after kidnapping of these innocent Pakistani Shia Muslims from their houses. He demanded immediate release of all the illegal detainees.
It was third protest demo since Tuesday as thousands rallied in Nishtar Park on Tuesday and thronged road outside the Islamic Research Centre to protest against the illegal custody of the innocent Shiites. Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that he would not leave the heirs of the detainees alone. He vowed that he would offer himself for arrest and detention if the illegally detained innocent Shia Muslims were not released till Ashura.
Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi also condemned the illegal detention of innocent youths and notables. Allama Nazir Hussain Taqvi of Shia Ulema Council also threatened to resort to protest if the innocent detainees were not released.
