Biased Punjab police books 25 Shias over fluttering of religious flags (alam pak)

Biased police and administration of Punjab province continue to victimize Shia Muslims across the province as 25 Shia Muslims were named in a false case over fluttering alam pak or sacred religious flags in Multan.

Shia Muslims hoisted alam pak or sacred religious flag on the road near Imam Bargah Haideria but biased police booked them in a false case misleading the media saying that they were named in a case of holding mourning congregation without permission.
Mourning congregations during Moharram is also a centuries-old tradition and Pakistani Muslims too hold Azadari Majalis and take out processions to commemorate the Karbala tragedy in which Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions embraced martyrdom in 61 A.H. Hence, it itself is another example of the bias of the corrupt and pro-takfiris officials within Punjab government and police that they are denying the legal and constitutional right of Pakistani citizens to them.
So far, 30 Shia Muslims have been booked in baseless cases in Multan alone. In Ali Pur, Khan Garh, Khanewal and some other districts, innocent Shia Muslims were named in false cases because the Moharram majalis (mourning congregations) continued for 10 more minutes than the declared schedule.
Shia Muslims have condemned the biased and pro-terrorists Punjab government and police over victimizing Shia Muslims due to political opposition.
