Demonstration held in Karachi against illegal detention of Shia Muslims

Families and other Shia Muslims staged a demonstration to protest against the illegal and undeclared arrests and detention of many Shia notables, youths and rights activist Samar Abbas yesterday.

Apart from heirs and relatives, many Shia Muslims expressed solidarity with the illegally arrested and detained innocent Shia Muslims condemning their enforced disappearances by the relevant authorities.
The demonstration was held at the Nishtar Park after Moharram Azadari Majlis addressed by Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi.
The protesters demanded that innocent Shia Muslims be released forthwith or they must be produced in courts and their heirs must be apprised of their whereabouts.
