Shia Muslims are observing Muharram with religious reverence across Pakistan

Shia Muslims have been largely attending Moharram Majalis (mourning congregations) and processions to commemorate the martyrs of Karbala in all over Pakistan from Friday.

Almost all Imam Bargahs witnessed huge turnout as Shia religious scholars are highlighting the salient features of sacred struggle of martyrs of Karbala and their infallible leader Imam Hussain (AS).
Clad in black dresses, Shia youths, elderly persons, women and children beat their chest to mourn the brutal massacre of Karbala.
