Karachi:-Three Laskar-e-Jhangvi terrorists arrested

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammed Fayyaz Khan said that the personnel of the CID carried out raids in Orangi town, Liaquatabad and MPR Colony and after resistence arrested Hafiz Mohammed Ali Qureshi alias Andha, Talha Zubair alias Shani and  Mohammed Zahid. Three TT pistols and several rounds were recovered from their possession.

The SSP said that during investigation, it transpired that terrorist Hafiz Mohammad alias Andha along with his companions killed Qayyum Baba, a spiritual healer, in Gulshan-i-Bihar, Orangi Town.

Similarly, the held Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists also martyred Principle of Mono Technical Government College, Imam Gul,Doctor Mehtab, Yousuf, Inspector Shamim and injured Asif as they all belonged to the Shia sect.

Khan added that Hafiz Mohammed also attacked a police van in Nabi Bux police limits a few years back to release their LJ companion, in which two police constables were killed.
