Shia parties take out rallies to protest against Myanmar over Rohingya issue
Like other parties, Shia Muslim parties also announced Friday a day of protest against the state-sponsored Rohingya Muslims genocide in Myanmar at the hands of the fanatic Buddhists.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, chief of Majlis-e-Wahdat-Muslimeen, has announced Friday as Youm e Himayat e Mazloomeen that means their supporters observe Friday to express their support to the oppressed people. Their rallies are being staged in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and rest of the country.
Shia Ulema Council leader Allama Nazir Taqvi has announced a rally in Karachi alone to express solidarity with the Rohingya Muslims and to condemn the Myanmar regime and fanatic Buddhists.
