Police look for Ansarul Shariah terrorist Abdul Karim Sarosh Siddiqui

Police conducted a raid in an area of Karachi after getting information of the presence of members of banned outfit Ansarul Shariah including Abdul Karim Sarosh Siddiqui because police concluded that he was mastermind of terrorist attack on MQM leader Khwaja Izhar ul Hassan.

Malir police are conducting raids across the city in search of him who escaped a raid in the city’s Kaneez Fatima Society.
Anwar said they were looking for Abdul Karim Sarosh Siddiqui, a senior commander of Ansarul Shariah. Anwar claimed Siddiqui is the mastermind of the Eid-day assassination attempt on Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan.
At one point, Siddiqui was a student of applied physics at Karachi University, informed sources.
The SSP shared the following number for the public to inform authorities if they see or hear information about the suspect: 0300-2023318.
Police today also claimed to have nabbed at least eight suspects in raids in the posh locality, Defence, as well as Malir and Sohrab Goth after an earlier raid today resulted in the death of a policeman and escape of Siddiqui. Police have got the KU identity card of Sarosh Siddiqui and his photos.
