Great Shia Muslim leader and scholar Mufti Jafar Hussain remembered

The 34th death anniversary of Allama Mufti Jafar Husain was observed yesterday by his admirers although no big condolence congregation was held anywhere in Pakistan. However, news websites and social media remembered him in high esteem by contributing news and articles on this spiritual and political leader of Shia Muslims of Pakistan.

A delegation of Imamia Students Organisation led by its Central President Syed Sarfaraz Naqvi and a veteran of the ISO Syed Niar Tirmizi visited the grave of Mufti Jafar Hussain where they offered fathea.
Mufti Jafar Hussain was founder leader of Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) who gave a tough time to the martial law dictator Zia ul Haq. Mufti Jafar led a struggle to attain legitimate rights of Shia Muslims of Pakistan as full citizens of this country.

He translated Nahj ul Balagha in Urdu and also authored the Seerat e Amir al Maumineen which are his memorable contribution in Urdu language.
