Pakistanis celebrate Independence Day in Qom under Jamia Roohaniat Baltistan
Pakistani community based in Iranian holy city Qom largely attended the ceremony held by the Jamia Roohaniat Baltistan to celebrate the anniversary of Pakistan’s independence.
Religious scholars, students, youths and children evinced their keen interest in the celebrations. The youths and students sang national songs of Pakistan.
The scholars who spoke on the occasion offered their services in building Pakistan as a superpower in the fields of economy, defence and culture. They also offered their services in making Pakistan a stable country.
They condemned the machinations of enemies of Pakistan against Pakistan.
They demanded of the civilian and military leadership, judiciary and the Parliament of Pakistan to play their active role in granting Gilgit-Baltistan its due Constitutional status and full rights like other parts of Pakistan.
They demanded due share of Gilgit-Baltistan in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and expansion of Gilgit-Skardu Road forthwith.
They demanded that Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in Iran should facilitate the issuance of CNICs and Passports of Pakistanis who are settled in Iran for education or employment.
