Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi, secretary political affairs, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has urged people to play their role in elimination of terrorism by putting pressure on the government for due action under National Action Plan.

He expressed these views at a condolence meeting in Lahore under the aegis of his party’s local chapter. Allama Hassan Hamdani, Allama Mazhar Hussain Jafari, Syed Hussain Zaidi, Syed Sajjad Naqvi, and others attended the meeting. They offered fateha for the departed souls of the victims of terrorism and early recovery of the injured of the Lahore blast.
Mr. Naqvi asked the rulers to take action instead of making lip-service because empty statements would not help resolve the issue of terrorism. He said that the rulers were not sincere with the country and the nation. He said rulers make money and flee the country to avoid accountability. He said that terrorist attack occurred in Lahore because the Punjab government got the leader of mother of all terrorism ASWJ/Sipah-e-Sahaba in the Punjab Assembly through sham election.
