Deobandi Taliban Mehsud group plots attacks on Governor, CM Punjab

Security agencies have issued threat alert that Taliban Shehryar Mehsud group was plotting to attack Punjab’s Governor, Chief Minister and eminent politicians hence foolproof security arrangements be made to counter the threat.

The security officials have recommended intelligence-based combing operation in all over province.
The relevant agencies were directed to keep a strict check around important installations, hospitals, schools and government buildings and also keen eye on suspicious movements. IGP Punjab should be kept informed of the latest development, it was also recommended.
