Deobandi terrorists bid to hit Dera Ghazi Khan foiled

Security forces on Friday foiled a ‘major’ terror bid in Dera Ghazi Khan, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, said in a statement. In another raid three Deobandi terrorists of Jamaatul Ahrar were also arrested.

“Pakistan Rangers Punjab conducted intelligence-based operations in Dera Ghazi Khan last night, the ISPR statement said. Two suspected terrorists were killed during the operation.
The statement said the two suspects were “planning terrorist action during a religious activity” and were killed in an exchange of fire during the operation.
