All Sunni and Shia parties agree to stage a joint Quds Day rally

All the Sunni and Shia parties who met at the central secretariat if Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, have agreed to take out a joint rally on the occasion of International Quds Day in Islamabad on the last Friday of ongoing month of Ramazan.

Saqib Akbar, deputy secretary general of Milli Yakjehti council and head of Al Baseerah presided over the meeting. It was decided at the meeting that Quds Rally will be taken out after Friday prayers from Masjid/Imam Bargah Isna Ashari G-6/2. From China Chowk, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and other Sunni parties will join Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, ISO, Shia Ulema Council and other organisations. The rally will be culminated at Pak Saudi Towers.
The leaders of the rally will also present a memorandum against the occupation of Palestine and al-Quds by Zionist regime of Israel, to the Islamabad office of the United Nations.
It is relevant to add here that Allama Raja Naair Abbas Jafari had proposed a joint rally on Quds Rally that was pondered upon by the like-minded parties and they agreed to do so.
