Six Deobandi Taliban terrorists arrested in Bahawalnagar, Charsadda

Security forces on Friday foiled a major terror bid in Bahawalnagar and arrested at least four terrorists from Manchanabad area.

According to details, the terrorists were installing explosive material near a sensitive building. Security forces have recovered weapons and explosive material from the possession of the suspects.

The terrorists have been identified as Naeem, Tehseen Askari, Zahid Khan and Umer Yar.Meanhwile, two most-wanted terrorists Illyas and Daud were apprehended from Mandni area of Charsadda who were involved in 109 terror activities. Two suicide vests, 30kg explosives, nine missiles and nine rocket launchers were recovered from a house after the identification of terrorists.

According to DPO Charsadda Sohail Khalid, the terrorists belong to TTP Sheikh Khalid group and were detained on a tip-off of intelligence agencies. Moreover, an escaped suspect Sajid Zamam carries Rs15 lac head money.
