MWM calls for foolproof security and no power outage during Ramazan
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has urged the relevant authorities to ensure foolproof security during the holy month of Ramazan that begins on Sunday in Pakistan.
Allama Mukhtar Imami, spokesman and Ali Ahmar Zaidi, information secretary of the MWM Pakistan, have issued separate statements on the eve of Ramazan, sacred month of Islamic calendar when Muslims observe fast.
Ali Ahmar said that security officials should ensure beefed up security so that terrorists and criminals must not succeed in their nefarious designs during the holy month of Ramazan.
Allama Imami urged the government to order the power supply companies that they provide uninterrupted electricity in all over Pakistan. He urged that there must be no power outage in the name of scheduled load-shedding.
He also demanded of the government to keep the profiteers under watch and punish if they hoards anything for profiteering. He urged that the prices of essential commodities should not be allowed to soar during Ramazan.
